David and Linda Dutton hosted the “Hall” family Christmas on Jan. 3 at Little Cedar Church. Family members attending included; Tom and Karen Hall; Andy Hall and Stacey Valentine; Sara and Andy Varner and children, Jacob, Lilly, Lexi and Ava; Ryan Hall; Janet Hall; Scott and Kelli Hall and children, Claire, Garrett, and Emily; Matt and Kristin Dutton and sons, D.J. and Jake; Melissa Bennett and children Grace, Hannah, Daniel, Mercy and Sam; Nick and Krystal Carlson and Asher.

Mary Ann McCann of Oneida, daughter Lindsay Higgerson and her daughter Peighton of Rio spent Saturday with her mother, Helen Jane Nicol.

On Monday evening Debra and Jim Darrah, Janet and Ted Johnson were supper guests of Doris and Lawrence Lee.

Doris and Lawrence Lee entertained their Pinochle Club, Mr. and Mrs. Don Earp, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hawk, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Patch, all of Roseville.

The Little Cedar congregation enjoyed hearing the adult choir sing “Go tell is on the mountain’ last Sunday morning.

There will be a benefit for Kay Jones at the Eagles Club in Oquawka on Jan. 16.

The ladie’s Bible study will be held at the Valentine home at 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon and the Little Cedar Church at 6:15 p.m.
