(Jan. 4, 2010) Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Worthington spent five days over the Christmas holidays with all of their children in Rochelle.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Free spent last Friday and Saturday getting acquainted with their new great-granddaughter Charlotte Louise, daughter of Jessica and Chet Mellema of Des Moines, Iowa.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Campbell were happy to have their daughter and husband, Barbara and Steve Detterman of Early, Iowa and their sons Dan of Chicago and Andy of Kansas City visit them last Saturday and Sunday.

Doris and Lawrence Lee drove to Broken Arrow, Okla. on Tuesday before Christmas to the home of their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Foley. The Foley's daughters Allison of Dallas, Texas and Lindsay Jarvis and her husband were there also. The Lee's report Okalahoma had eight inches of snow on Christmas Eve, but the roads were clear when they returned home on Monday.

On Dec. 22, Betty Flynn had as supper guests Sandy and Jim Gunter, granddaughter Kristi and Dan Green and great-granddaughter Emma. On Christmas Eve, Betty's supper guests were a former Little York resident, David Smith and his wife Anna Marie and their one-year-old son Adam.

New Year's Eve guests of Dean and Ellen Ischer were Debra and Jim Darrah and Janet and Ted Johnson.

On Saturday, Debra and Jim Darrah and Shelly Hanson visited in the Steve Darrah home in Lincoln.

Gladys and Jim Free, Nancy and Frank Brokow of Rozetta were New Year's Eve guests of Shirley and Bob Darrah.

The Little Cedar Women's Bible study will meet Thursday at 1:30 at Valentines.

The Youth are planning to go tubing at Snowstar on Jan. 18.
