Frances Kreuger has a new great-granddaughter Kiera Elizabeth Norton. She lives in Baltimore, Md. with her parents Rachel and Robert Norton. This is Frances' eighth grandchild.

Paul and Joanne Danner have returned from Orlando, Fla. They enjoyed a two-week vacation in a much better climate. They enjoyed short trips around Florida; the Keyes, and Miami as outings. Several family members also enjoyed visiting them.

Peggy and Ron Heaton and Steve and Deb Wagaman returned from a two-week vacation in Kawai, Ha. They enjoyed whale watching, walking the beach and the beautiful warm weather.

Greg Gierlus of Illinois City and Courtney Johnson of Edgington were married at Edgington Presbyterian Church. Many folks from Illinois City attended the event. A beautiful reception was held at the Ramada Inn in Moline.

The Illinois City Methodist Service Guild will be having an "All women's church meeting" on Feb. 8. A supper will be served at 5:30-6 p.m. with a meeting from 6-6:30 p.m. Childcare will also be provided with a meal served. This meeting is open to all women of the church and any that would like to come from surrounding areas. We will discuss projects such as new carpet, noodles making, spring fling and ongoing events. Hope to see you for this important one-hour meeting.
