Boy Scout Sunday was observed Feb. 7 at Reynolds Methodist Church. Following the service refreshments were served.

Mat and Kay Wynn and Dan and Chris Wynn visited Emily Wynn on Friday, Feb. 5 to celebrate her birthday. Emily recently was promoted to assistant nurse manager in the surgical intensive care unit at the University of Iowa Hospital. Also attending the party were Tyson Blaser, University of Iowa, and Anna Gulbransen, St. Louis, Miss.

Ruth and Ken Hoyt, Betsy Hanson, John Hoyt, Tiffany Hoyt and Amanda Willaims flew to the Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas on Friday, Feb. 5. They attended graduation ceremonies for Austin Hoyt.

Austin Hoyt is now stationed at Vanderberg Air Force Base near Santa Maria, Calif.

Sunday, Feb. 7, was the Reynolds volunteer fire department pancake breakfast at the Legion from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. They served approximately 500 people.

On Monday, Feb. 8, Lucille Elliott entertained the Susannah Circle with six members present. Lucille also presented the lesson. The next meeting will be held at the Reynolds Church.

School was cancelled Tuesday in the Rockridge District 300, blowing and drifting snow was the cause.

Pearl Gordon suffered a fractured hip last week and was in Trinity West Hospital. She will undergo therapy while she is there.
