Coming up on June 26, the weekend after Father's Day will be the Antique Power Reunion in Seaton with antique tractors and other equipment on display. A day of fun activities and food with more details will be coming up. Ronn Dillavou organizes this event.

Baseball and softball season has started for the Mercer County Golden Eagles. The MCHS Softball team started off with a 14-9 win over Kewanee on Tuesday night at the Apollo diamond. The JV played at Kewanee and won 18-5. On the 24th, both teams traveled to Illini West in Carthage. The varsity lost 4-6 and the JV lost 1-2.

There was a planning meeting for the Westmer Class of 1970's 40th class reunion on Wednesday night at Ed and Renea Anderson's house. Addresses are still needed for Jean Baldwin Gronewald, Thelma Stegall Rankin, Valerie Noble Gallagher, Debbie Larson Fetters, Ruth Davison Dahl and a few others. The class reunion weekend is planned for August 6, 7 and 8th.

The community Easter egg hunt is coming up on Good Friday, April 2 at 1 p.m. The children will be out of school that day. The activities start at the Center Presbyterian Church.
