Exchange Club member Dick Norton hangs one of the Christmas Trees on a stand inside the new pavilion in Aledo Central Park. The park's old pavilion used to hang the trees from the inside ceiling and a new method was needed to display the trees.

The Aledo Exchange Club's Christmas Tree sale is ready and in operation. The 43-member club had a good number on hand Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 to help unload, unfurl and set up the 219 trees under the Aledo Central Park shelter.

Nineteen of the trees were chosen for WRMJ's Trees in the Park. The trees were purchased from the Wolosek Family Farms of Plover, Wis.

Tree sales run Monday - Friday from 1 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The three types of trees are White Pine, Scotch Pine and Balsam fir. Tree sizes and price ranges are: five to six-foot trees -- $22; six to seven-foot trees -- $25; seven to eight-foot trees -- $30; Balsam Fir -- $35 and the big trees (12 - 16-foot trees) -- $50.
