Mercer County School board meets tonight

The Mercer County School board will meet tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the District office, 1002 SW Sixth Street, Aledo.

On the agenda for the meeting is the awarding of the platform lift bid.

The board will also discuss the one cent sales tax and the financial consultant as its business under finance.

The superintendent will give the second report on academic status.

The board will also discuss an energy grant and recevie a food service update.

In closed session the board will discuss a custodian/assistant coach resignation, aide resignation, hire an aide, bus driver resignations and other personnel maters.
