Native Plant Sale

The Quad Cities Natural Area Guardians will be holding a Native Plant Sale on Saturday, May 14th 2011, from 10 AM to 2 PM.  Location will be at Black Hawk State Historic Site, Maintenance Building at 1510 Black Hawk Road, Rock Island Illinois

Plants will be available for Butterfly/Bird Gardens, Prairie Gardens, Rain Gardens, Shady Areas,and  Deer Resistant varieties.

Native plants are perennials that are well adapted to our soils and climate; are disease resistant and solve many landscape problems.    Once establish require less maintenance, fertilizerer, water.  They add natural beauty to your gardens.
