Vivian L. Huston, 100,  of  Aledo died Thursday May 19, 2011 at the Mercer County Nursing Home in Aledo.  Services are 10:00AM Monday at the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial is in the Aledo Cemetery.  There is no visitation. Memorials may be left to the College Avenue Presbyterian Church, Warren Achievement Center or the Mercer County Nursing Home. Vivian was born August 28, 1910 in Joy to Roy W. and L. Belle Edgar Noble. She graduated from Joy High School in 1928 and attended Western Illinois State Teacher's College in Macomb.  She married Harry V. Huston August 3, 1935 in  Joy, IL.  He died April 6, 2008.

Vivian was a teacher in the Joy and Millersburg schools for24 years and was employed as a first grade teacher in the Aledo School District  for 12 years retiring in 1966.

Survivors include her twin sister; Vella Gowdy and a brother Jerry (Gail) Noble both of Aledo. Nieces; Kathy Whitehall of Joy, Kay Sell of New Boston, Kris Salmon and Karole Franks both of Aledo, 1 nephew; David Noble of Aledo and several great nieces and nephews.
