Mercer County School District meeting is June 15
The Mercer County School District's board of education will hold its regular monthly meeting on June 15 at 7 p.m. at the District Office at 1002 SW 6th Street in Aledo.
Prior to the meeting there will be a budget hearing at 6:45 p.m. to discuss the amended budget for FY 11.
Agenda items will include: the amended budget, athletic field renovation update, technology lease, New Boston field, prevailing wage, preapproval of the bus lease option and High Roads partnership.
A closed session is scheduled to discuss personnel.
Closed session agenda items include: hire intermediate school social studies teacher, transfer junior high teacher to intermediate school; preschool parent educator retirement, bus driver resignation, junior high track coach resignation, New Boston secretary retirement; twelve month employee compensation, treasurer's contract, paraprofessional reduction in force; cook work hours altered.
