Fair queen contestants wanted

The Mercer County Fair Queen, Junior Miss and Little Miss pageants are seeking contestants. Deadline to apply is June 1, 2012. The pageant will be held Tuesday, July 10 at the Mercer County Fairgrounds.

Any contestant must be a resident of Mercer County, although a Queen contestants may be a student at Alexis, Rockridge and Sherrard high school, if not a Mercer County resident.

Queen contestants ages are 16-21; Junior Miss contestants are ages 11-13 and Little Miss contestants are for ages 5-7.
