Schilling to Host Kickoff Barbeques in Peoria and Rockford Friday at 5 p.m. in Peoria, Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in Rockford

The Bobby Schilling for Congress campaign will be hosting two campaign kickoff barbeques in Peoria and Rockford this weekend.

What: Bobby Schilling for Congress Peoria Campaign Kickoff Barbeque

When: Friday, July 13 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Where: 60 State Street, Peoria Ill.

What: Bobby Schilling for Congress Rockford Campaign Kickoff Barbeque

When: Saturday, July 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Where: Edgewood Shelter, Kilbuck Forest Preserve, 3118 Southbend Road, Rockford Ill.

The events will be open to the public and the media is invited to attend.

Bobby Schilling, a native of Rock Island, Ill., graduated from Alleman High School and attended Black Hawk College. Schilling, a local business owner, was elected to his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010. Schilling rejected the congressional pension, turned down the congressional health care plan, and pledged to oppose all congressional pay increases. Schilling, who represents the Illinois 17th District, lives in Colona, Ill. with his wife and ten children.
