Illusionist Mike Super to perform at Augustana College Sept. 22

Winner of the 2007 NBC show "Phenomenon: The Search for the Next Great Mentalist," Mike Super promises to amaze his audience with illusions on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. in Augustana College's Centennial Hall (3703 7th Ave.). The show is open to the public.

Super's greatest illusions include making Ellen DeGeneres appear out of shadows on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and making a Magic Kingdom amusement park ride appear on stage while he was surrounded by Disney executives.

Super has been putting on magic shows since the age of 6, after he was inspired by a magician at Walt Disney World. He has earned the International Magicians Society's Entertainer of the Year award for two consecutive years and performs more than 200 shows a year.
