4-H Schedule for the fair

For Mercer County 4-H Members, the Mercer County Fair in Aledo, IL on July 9-12, 2013 is a special time as they get to showcase their talents by exhibiting their many projects they've worked hard on all year.  One of the great benefits of being in 4-H is to "learn by doing" as they plan, practice and present a finished product to a judge. 4-H fair projects give members a unique opportunity to discover their interests and talents. Through 4-H meetings, community service and project work, 4-H members are given the chance to develop on their leadership, citizenship and life skills.

See 4-H youth in action as you visit the General Projects in on display in the Merchant Building and Floral Hall and watch the 4-H livestock judging shows listed below.  4-H Shows take place at the Mercer County Fairgrounds, 848 170th Street, Aledo, IL.  For details on the fair, visit:  www.mercercountyfair.org
