Attic Antique Appraisals available Aug. 24 during Antique Days

A hugely popular event will be back during the 11th Annual Aledo Antique Days. Attic Antique Appraisals will take place Saturday, August 24 from 9-11 on the North Lawn of the Courthouse in downtown Aledo. If you have ever wondered about the value of an antique you have in your home, this antique appraisal event is a great opportunity to find out what it is worth. The appraisals will be done by Licensed Certified Appraiser, Dr. George Morris. Dr. Morris appraised hundreds of items in the past during Antique Days and among them were three paintings valued at more than $30,000.

Pre-registration for the event is not required, but if you would like to call the Aledo Main Street office at 309-582-2751 for an appointment we can accommodate. Registration forms can be picked up at BankOrion, 201 W. Main Street in Aledo or can also be printed from the Main Street website at OR you can just show up that day with your treasure in hand and make your appointment that day! Fee for the appraisal is $10 per item.
