MERCER COUNTY PRESCHOOL SCREENING

NEW BOSTON ELEMENTARY will conduct a screening of all 0 - 5 year old children and in the areas of vision, hearing, speech, behavior and other developmental areas. Call New Boston Elementary School at (309) 587-8141.

Appointments for the NBE screening are:

February 26th. …. .9:30 am - 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Joy

March 6th (re-screen)...9:30 am - 12:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Joy

APOLLO ELEMENTARY will conduct their screening of all 0-5 year old children in the areas of vision, hearing, speech, behavior and other developmental areas. Call Apollo Elementary School at (309) 582-5350.

Appointments for the Apollo screening are

February 19th. . . . . . . 9:00 am -2:00 pm at the Aledo Methodist Church

February 20th . . . …...9:00am - 12:00 pm at the Aledo Methodist Church

APPOINTMENTS ARE NECESSARY

In order for children to attend preschool a screening must be completed to determine eligibility. The screening program is a free service provided cooperatively by the Mercer County School District, Black Hawk Area Special Education District, Mercer County Department of Public Health, and the HMW Regional Office of Education #27.
