Viola Methodists holding soup lunch Jan. 19

The Viola United Methodist Church is holding a soup lunch Sunday, Jan. 19 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

There will be a collection of many snowmen on display for the lunch. Visitors can enjoy a lunch of homemade chili, chicken noodle, vegetable beef and cheesy potato soups.

There will also be a sweet shoppe of deserts for sale.

The event is being sponsored by the Outreach and Mary/Martha/Lazarus committees. All proceeds go to the church budget.
