Fundraiser for Honor Flight is Feb. 1

The 10th annual “Havana Daydreamin’” fundraiser of the Quad City Parrot Head Club will be Saturday, February 1 at the Davenport RiverCenter. A preparty will be held on the floor above where the event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m., with Wisconsin singer Jim Hoehn performing from 2 to 5. Food from Buffalo Wild Wings and the Culinary Kids (through Goombazz in Rock Island) will be provided as part of the ticket price. The Havana Daydreamin' event will be from 6 to midnight, with Ramajay Intercoastal performing from 6 to 8 and 2013 Trop Rock Band of the Year, The Boat Drunks from 8 to midnight. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 on the day of the event. Reserved tables, guaranteed near the stage, are $200 for a pack of eight tickets. Tickets that include the preparty are $25 ($5 plus the HDD ticket) and must be purchased before Wednesday because of the food order. Tickets can be purchased at either the web site or any any Quad-Cities HyVee store. The Quad City Parrot Head Club has raised over a quarter of a million dollars for Quad-Cities charities in nine years. Proceeds from this year's event will go to the Quad Cities Honor Flight.
