Mercer/Rock Island Farm bureaus forming "Young Leaders" group

The Mercer/Rock Island County Farm Bureaus are forming a brand new Young Leaders group. Young Leaders is for individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who want to “hang out” with people their own age and share a common bond through agriculture. The group will get together for social outings as well as to promote agriculture. The kick-off is going to be at Liberty Station Steakhouse located 113 South College Avenue in Aledo on Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m. Come and join us for a complimentary meal, networking, and socializing.
