Sherrard school board schedules special meetings for Saturday, Feb. 15 and Sunday, Feb. 16

The Sherrard Board of Education has scheduled two special meetings. The meeting on Saturday starts at 9 a.m. in the unit office.

The Sunday meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the high school library.

The board and the teacher's union, the Sherrard Education Association (SEA) are working to avert a strike by the union. At a Feb. 9 meeting the SEA issued an intent to strike notice to the school board.

The Sherrard School Board will meet Feb. 19 for its normal.
