Senator Mike Jacobs hosts senior fair in Moline to great success

MOLINE - The Moline Township Activity center was bustling with energy Monday as Senator Mike Jacobs (D-Moline) hosted his Senior Fair. The turnout was exceptional, and with over twenty vendors the attendees were able to learn about many services that can benefit them.

“It’s a wonderful sight to see so many in attendance today to learn about how they can remain active and healthy,” said Sen. Jacobs. “The vendors were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, so it’s no wonder I saw so many smiles.”

The Senator even kicked off his shoes to take part in some of the services offered, getting his BMI as well as his blood pressure tested.
