Gas leak fixed Friday

Today Friday, March 7th, 2014 around 12:10pm, the Aledo Police Department was notified of a natural gas leak in the 700 block of North College Lane. The Aledo Gas Department was at the location and started immediate procedures to cap the leak and was assisted by the Street Department and Water Department. The Aledo Fire Department responded and stood by in case needed. The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department assisted also. Shortly thereafter the Aledo Gas Department got the leak capped.
