Local Seniors to Attend Candidate Forum

On Tuesday, March 11, the Illinois Alliance for Retired Americans (IARA) and its affiliate, the Rock Island County Chapter of IARA will host a forum with the candidates for Illinois' 71st House District and Rock Island County Clerk. The forum will be an opportunity for the public to meet the candidates and hear their position on various issues. IARA and the Rock Island County Chapter of IARA have not endorsed a candidate in these races.

Illinois 71st House District candidates Mike Smiddy and Jim Wozniak are confirmed to attend the forum. Candidate Jeff McKinley was invited to the forum, but has not confirmed attendance at the time of this advisory.

Rock Island County Clerk candidates Glen Evans, Kim Lazenby and Karen Kinney are confirmed to attend the forum.
