Swanson named IBCA District girls Class 1A/2A coach of the year

Doug Swanson, Sherrard High School varsity girls basketball coach, has been named as the Illinois Basketball coach of the year in District 11.

He will be honored at the 42nd annual Hall of Fame Induction Dinner on Saturday, April 26 at Illinois State University.

This is the fourth year in a row that Swanson has received this honor.
