Richmond Hill Players open season with romantic comedy

Richmond Hill Players next offering is Joe DiPietro’s romantic comedy, “The Last Romance.” The show will be presented Thursdays through Sundays, April 24th through May 4th at the Barn Theater in Geneseo. Tom Morrow, Rock Island, directs the show.

On an ordinary day in a routine life, Ralph decides to take a different path on his daily walk - one that leads him to an unexpected second chance at love. Relying on a renewed boyish charm, Ralph attempts to woo the elegant but distant Carol. Defying Carol's reticence - and his lonely sister's jealousy - Ralph regains a happiness that seemed lost.

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays the doors open at 6:30 pm with the show beginning at 7:30 pm. Sundays are 3 pm matinees with the doors opening at 2 pm. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the Richmond Hill box office at 309-944-2244 or visiting the website at Late seating is not permitted; no one will be admitted to the theater once the performance has begun. Admission for all performances is $10.

Richmond Hill Players now offers free audio transcription for visually-challenged patrons during one performance of each production of the season.
