ST. AMBROSE UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES SPRING COMMENCEMENT EVENTS

DAVENPORT, Iowa—St. Ambrose University will hold its spring commencement ceremony starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10 at the i Wireless Center, 1201 River Drive, Moline, Ill. Seating is open with no tickets required. The public is invited to attend. Students or guests needing special accommodations should contact the Services for Students with Disabilities office, 563-333-6275.

A total of 656 degrees, include 465 bachelor’s degrees, 187 master’s degrees and four doctoral degrees, will be conferred during the ceremony.

The following commencement events will take place:

Friday, May 9

5 p.m.

College of Business Graduate Program Hooding Ceremonies

Christ the King Chapel, located on the SAU campus

Reception immediately following, Cosgrove Dining Hall, located on Locust Street

College of Arts and Sciences and College of Health and Human Services Joint Ceremony

Galvin Fine Arts Center, located on Gaines Street, between Locust and Lombard

Reception immediately following, Rogalski Center, located at the corner of Ripley and Lombard Streets, one block west of Harrison Street.

8 p.m.

Nursing Pinning Ceremony

Galvin Fine Arts, located on Gaines Street, between Locust and Lombard

Saturday, May 10

9 a.m.

Commencement Mass

All graduates, families and friends are welcome, regardless of faith.

Christ the King Chapel on the SAU campus

10 a.m.

Brunch for Graduates, Families and Guests

Menu items include scrambled eggs, cheesy hash brown bake, French toast triangles, ham, pastries, fruit, coffee and assorted drinks.

7.50/adult; $4/children (ages 6-12); free for children age 5 and under (tickets still required)
