Aledo Masonic Lodge presenting play "December's Rose"
The Aledo Masonic Lodge will be presenting the play "December's Rose" May 24 at 2 p.m. at the lodge.
There will be introduction of special guest at approximately 1:30 p.m. The lodge is inviting the public to attend their special event that afternoon.
The Scottish Rite players, Valley of Moline, will present December's Rose, a play in two acts and an interlude. The play is adapted from a play by Carl H. Claudy, and revised by Theodore E. Torok.
The play takes place in a small country Masonic Lodge. The members are country people, farmers and small town businessmen. To them Masonry is serious, supplementing church, teaching high ideals and promoting friendships.
The public is invited to witness the drama as the story unfolds teaching how charity to others can make a difference in the lives of everyone involved.
