Murray-Vinnie-Felix - Ray Rogers (left, Geneseo) and Spiro Bruskas (right, Aledo) are concerned for their friend Felix Unger (center, Bettendorf) in Richmond Hill Players production of "The Odd Couple".

Richmond Hill Players next offering is Neil Simon’s comedy classic, “The Odd Couple.” The show will be presented Thursdays through Sundays, July 10th through July 20th at the Barn Theater in Geneseo. Mike Skiles, Geneseo, directs the show.

Neil Simon's witty dialogue, vibrant characters, timely themes and hilarious one-liners have made him one of the most produced playwrights of the 20th century and a true legend of American stage comedy. "The Odd Couple" is one of his funniest and most popular plays. The iconic characters of Oscar the slob and Felix the neat freak have become mainstays of popular culture; more surprisingly, its touching insights about friendship remain equally moving, nearly fifty years after its Broadway debut, when it won Simon the 1965 Tony Award for Best Author of Play.

The cast features Greg Cripple, Bettendorf; John VanDeWoestyne, Glenn Kluge, Jackie Patterson, Ray Rogers, Jackie Skiles, Geneseo; Spiro Bruskas, Aledo; and Michael B. Miller, Silvis.

The staff includes stage manager Dana Skiles, tech director Jennifer Kingry; stage crew Cory Holbrook, Ryan Holbrook; set builder Mike Skiles, all of Geneseo.

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays the doors open at 6:30 pm with the show beginning at 7:30 pm. Sundays are 3 pm matinees with the doors opening at 2 pm. Audio Description performance for visually-challenged patrons is Friday, July 18.

Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the Richmond Hill box office at 309-944-2244 or by visiting the website at No one will be admitted to the theater after the show has started. Admission for all performances is $10.
