4-H Archery Club to Start September 12 at Rock Island Conservation Club on Big Island, Milan, IL - register by Sept 5

(Milan, IL) 4-H Shooting Sports Archery SPIN Club will meet Fridays beginning September 12th at 5 p.m. at the Rock Island Conservation Club’s indoor range, located at 2421 Big Island Rd., Milan, IL.  Beginner archers ages 8 and up will learn archery basics, safety and enjoy target practice.  The first session will be an orientation and learning about safety.  The club will continue to meet for a total of 8 sessions  A grant from the Illinois 4-H Foundation has allowed us to purchase bows, arrows and other equipment if you do not have them.  There is no supply fee.  There is an annual 4-H registration fee of $20.  Once this fee is paid, the youth is a member of 4-H and can enroll in 4-H programs throughout the year for just the cost of supplies, if any.  Please register for the Archery 4-H Club by September 5th.    You may register online via the University of Illinois Extension Henry, Mercer, Rock Island and Stark Counties web page: or call (309) 756-9978.
