URBANA, Ill.  – While farmers are getting ready for harvest, ag tax professionals will gather in Champaign to learn about innovative multi-generation farm estate strategies. This seminar can help tax practitioners understand how recent rules impact farms and offer planning tools to develop effective multi-generation estate planning strategies for farm clients. Estate planning continues to be a significant activity for farm families, especially with growing asset values and differences between the federal and Illinois laws.

“Tax School is pleased to bring two experts, one in farm taxation and the other in farm estate planning together for an informative day,” said Terri Kobel, University of Illinois Tax School Director. “We think tax professionals will find this seminar extremely beneficial as they continue to work with their farm clients.”

This seminar will be held Monday, September 29; it offers eight hours of CPE for only $230, which includes tuition, materials, lunch, snacks, and beverages. Check-In begins at 7:30 a.m. and instruction runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The seminar is offered in Champaign, IL at the I Hotel & Conference Center.
