Watermark Women, a non-partisan organization, will be hosting two more community candidate forums for the voters to come listen to the individuals who will be on the ballot for the November General Election. Watermark Women believe all voters need to have the opportunity to address the candidates who are running for office and to make their own informed decision on who to elect. All candidates have been invited by way of invitation to attend the forums that pertain to their county board districts and for county-wide candidates to participate in all three events.

Upcoming event dates are as follows: September 30, 2014 at the New Boston Community Center and October 13, 2014 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Aledo. Doors will be open to the public at 6 p.m. for both events and the program will begin at 7 p.m. Voters will have the opportunity to submit questions that pertain to the offices' of the county-wide candidates which will then be read by moderators. County Board candidates will speak briefly and will be available for one-on-one dialog before and after the event. We encourage all candidates to participate in these forums so voters have more of an opportunity to make an informed decision. Watermark Women are looking forward to seeing you. If you have more questions you may reach us by email at or on Face Book - Watermark Women.
