UnityPoint Health-Trinity Muscatine and Hy-Vee is pleased to present Ironman triathlete and Novo Nordisk patient ambassador Jay Hewitt and comedy duo Rick Davis and Bob Kelly for an evening of laughs and inspiration as they tell their story of living with diabetes at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the Muscatine High School auditorium, 2705 Cedar Street, Muscatine.

Jay Hewitt became the first athlete with diabetes to qualify for the United States national triathlon team. His inspirational speech, “Finish Line Vision,” encourages people to reach their own personal finish line by overcoming obstacles to achieve goals, life balance and good health.

Today, he travels across the country delivering his motivational message that diabetes does not have to hold you back. Hewitt’s visit is sponsored by Trinity Muscatine and Hy-Vee.

Rick Davis and Bob Kelly perform a comedy act ‘Do or Diabetes,’ a high-energy, fun program that is aimed at people living with diabetes and their families.

There is no cost to attend. For more information contact Holly Thomas-Koehler at holly.thomas-koehler@unitypoint.org or call (563) 264-9225.
