The Morrissey Gallery will feature promotional poster art for past events at Rock Island's cafe/music/art venue Rozz-Tox.

11:30 a.m. – McMullen Award presentation and reception

St. Ambrose University will celebrate its patron saint with a special Mass, followed by presentation of the McMullen Award, named in honor of SAU's founder, Bishop John McMullen, and presented to individuals who embody the university’s mission of enriching the lives of others.

Lecture and Panel Discussion: ‘Birthday of a Book: A Venetian Edition of Saint Ambrose’s “de Officiis”’ (at St. Ambrose University)

An interdisciplinary panel will discuss a book written by Saint Ambrose and published Dec. 4, 1514 C.E. Guest scholar Brian Berni will also present his translation of four pages of handwritten marginalia, written by several owners of the book.
