Sandburg to Host 32nd Annual KCAHCE Class Day Feb. 28

GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College will host the 32nd annual Knox County Association for Home and Community Education (KCAHCE) Class Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 28 on the Main Campus in Galesburg, 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd.

Class Day allows participants to attend up to five classes in eight categories for $25 and includes lunch. There will be 53 classes offered, covering topics such as arts and crafts; technology; recreation/gardening; home and personal; history; health; food; and international studies.

Teachers can earn up to five Continuing Professional Development Unit (CPDU) credits by attending, and $10 scholarships are available for Knox County 4-H members. Pre-registration is not required, but it is suggested to guarantee placement in preferred classes. Registration forms and program booklets are available at area township libraries, Carl Sandburg College, Galesburg Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Galesburg Public Library, Knox County Farm Bureau, University of Illinois Extension in Galesburg and the Warren County Public Library.
