Sith Annual Monmouth Home Show is Jan. 31

Monmouth, IL—January, 2015—spring will soon be approaching and now is the perfect time to start planning projects around your home. The Sixth Annual Monmouth Home Show is a great way to gather ideas for this year’s projects. Hosted at the 1st Street Armoury located at 215 South 1st Street, the Monmouth Home Show will take place on Saturday, January 31st, 2015 from 9:00 am-2:00 pm. Alfano’s Pizzeria will be serving Pizza and sandwiches from 11:00am to 1:00pm. The show is free and open to the public.

Area businesses and organizations that specialize in products and services for the home will have booths set up so that you can view their products, ask about their services, and discuss projects for your home with experts. A wide range of products and services will be represented at the show including: building and remodeling supplies and contractors, flooring specialists, basement repair, landscaping, insurance, lawn equipment, local lenders, plumbing and heating, real estate, and more.

While at the show, register for your chance to win a $100 Monmouth Save A Lot gift certificate or a $100 Monmouth County Market gift certificate which will be given away as a door prize at 2:00pm courtesy of the Chamber. Many merchants will also be offering valuable door prize drawings and give away items at their individual booths.

Angie McElwee, Executive Director of the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce, stated about the show, “We encourage the public to come tour the show, register for some great door prizes, and most importantly learn about products and services for the home.”
