‘INTRODUCE A GIRL TO ENGINEERING’ NIGHT AT ST AMBROSE UNIVERSITY

DAVENPORT, Iowa—St. Ambrose University is offering a night of fun activities in science and engineering for girls, pre-school age through 7th grade. “Introduce a Girl to Engineering” will take place Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 5-8 p.m. in the Rogalski Center, located at the corner of Ripley and Lombard Streets, one block west of Harrison. Teachers and parent participation is encouraged. Space is limited; registration required by Friday, Feb. 20.

Hands-on activities will include LED and 3D-printed jewelry, racing sailboats and frozen fractals. Iowa Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds will be present for the event.
