Putnam Summer Camp Registration Now Available!
DAVENPORT, Iowa (February 16, 2015) – The Putnam is excited to announce that registration is now open for Summer Camp! Spend the summer discovering, inventing and engaging in amazing experiences at the Putnam Museum! Our summer camp programs are available for youth entering grades K – 8. Before and after care is available for most summer camps. Multiple child and member discounts are available, as well scholarship opportunities.
Old favorites like “Harry Potter Camp” and “Rube Goldberg Design Academy” are returning this year, as well as the addition of new gaming and Dr. Seuss themed camps. Engineering Camp weeks are also back by popular demand.

WEEKLONG: FULL DAY CAMPS
Fee: $160 (members $150)
Harry Potter, Grades 2 - 5
June 8-12, 9am - 4pm
Accept your invitation to the Midwest’s premiere wizarding prep school. Take classes including Potions, Charms, Quidditch and more as you
discover the science secrets behind the magic!
Rube Goldberg Design Academy, Grades 3 - 6
June 15-19, 9am - 4pm
Can you use a golf ball to open a bottle or a string to swing a bat? Discover the power of tinkering to really make things happen and create a functional Rube Goldberg machine.
Camp C3, Grades 3 - 6
July 6-10, 9am - 4pm
Code, Create and Craft-MINEcraft that is! This weeklong camp will be filled with computer coding opportunities in gaming, animation, mini processors and much more!
Patent Pending, Grades 3 - 6
July 13-17, 9am - 4pm
Spend a week inventing and innovating at the Putnam! Explore inventions from across time and around the globe, then dig in and join great inventors by developing your very own creation!
Don't Try This at Home!, Grades 3 - 6
August 3-7, 9am - 4pm
Explosions, experiments and excitement! Come to this camp for science that leaves a mark-we'll try all those things you could never do at home and end our week with a BANG!

Seuss on the Loose
June 22-26, 9am - noon
This camp will be great! This camp will have style! This camp will be fun and will make you smile! Seuss is on the loose at the Putnam! Oobleck, green eggs and ham and more Seussy Science awaits.

It's STEM camp the Putnam way! Spend your week with hands-on, exciting science, technology, engineering and math events and activities. Science+Fun=Putnamology!
Raiders of the Last Artifact
July 20-24, 9am-noon
Calling all explorers-the hunt is on! Trek across the Putnam in search of gold, meteors, fossils and more. This adventure camp is full of twists and turns and fun surprises!
Rube Goldberg Design Academy Jr
July 20-24, 1pm-4pm
Use simple machines and tinker your way towards fun and funny machines. This cause-effect camp will be full of hands-on discoveries!
DONE IN A DAY CAMPS FOR 5-8 grade
Fee: $35 ($31.50 members)
June 29, 9am-4pm
Code your way to an amazing animated short, your own video game and more at iCode camp. Uncover the language of computers and discover limitless possibilities!
No Boys Allowed
June 30, 9am-4pm
Grab your best girlfriends and leave the boys behind as we spend the day experiencing science in our own way. Dive in, discover and discuss your way through all things science!
July 1, 9am-4pm
Challenge your hands and mind in this day-long adventure of building and design. Bridges, towers, shelters-if YOU build it, will they come?
ENGINEERING KIDS CAMP
