Elvis show set for Aledo

Elvis is in the building. In a way.

Ron Semler is bringing his Nearly Elvis show to the Aledo Central Park Band Shell at 7 p.m. tonight (July 30).

Semler was raised on a farm near Kalona, Iowa. He was voted in 2011 as the Number One Elvis Entertainer with Perfect Pitch by KV and Associates.

Having performed in Chicago, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Minneapolis, South Dakota, Iowa and Branson, Mo., Semler returned to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to work on "Window Pane," an album of original music.
