Holiday Bazaar

Make plans now and mark your calendar for the Aledo United Methodist Church Holiday Bazaar on the Friday and Saturday before Thanksgiving, Nov. 20 and 21.  Times are Friday 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 8-11 a.m.  The bazaar is family oriented, with unique, homemade items. Admission is free.

The women of the church have been extremely busy making preparations for their 5th Annual “Follow the Star” Holiday Bazaar.  One of the highlights is a display of over 100 Nativity sets, which will be shared by church members.

You may also do lots of holiday shopping at the many different Specialty Booths such as;  Candy Cane Café – Enjoy healthy and fun snacks, hot beverages before and after you shop, The Country Store – Baked goods and healthy food section, Dinner-To-Go – Ready to bake frozen lasagna and quart and pint size ham and bean soup with cornbread, Sweet Shoppe – Delicious holiday cookies and candies, Love Notes – Handcrafted cards and stationery items, Creative Hands – Handmade aprons, potholders, and a variety of other items, Appreciation Creations – Handmade gift items for teachers, friends, neighbors, daycare providers, etc…, Pampered Pets – Healthy, homemade dog and cat treats, The Cutting Edge – Rada cutlery, Kids Korner – Affordable gifts kids can buy for the family, Secret Shoppers – Helpers assist children with their Christmas shopping, A Star is Born – A photo shoot for your 2015 Christmas cards, Fellowship Café – The entire family can enjoy eating here on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m. with soup and pulled pork sandwich menu and Saturday from 8–11 a.m. when biscuits and gravy will be served.

Come join us as we “Follow the Star” this holiday season.  This event is part of our mission at Aledo UMC where, “We exist to connect people to Jesus Christ.” All profits will be used for local missions.  The location for this event is 301 N. College Ave., Aledo.
