The balance of this year's Lincoln Trail Conference was on display Tuesday, Jan. 26, as the Mercer County Golden Eagles were upset by Ridgewood, 65-55, in a game played at Cambridge.

The Eagles had a furious fourth-quarter rally, entering the period trailing by 14. Despite getting as close as three during the final stanza, the Eagles were unable to get over the hump and fell to 4-1 in the LTC and 11-9 overall.

Mercer County, Wethersfield and ROWVA-Williamsfield are all tied for second, a game behind Annawan.

Spencer Wood was led by Conner Sharp and Spencer Wood, who each notched 15 points. Ty Taylor added 12 for the Eagles.

The LTC tournament begins Thursday, Jan. 28, at ROWVA-Willliamsfield (Oneida).
