Tornado report from Tuesday's storms

The skies were ominous over Aledo, but except for some heavy rain for a short period and some wind, Aledo escaped nature's fury.

Aledo escaped the severe weather Tuesday, but such was not the case in Rock Island County and the Fulton/McDonough counties area farther south. Here are the National Weather Service reports on the tornadoes that hit Tuesday.

wo EF-2 tornadoes fairly close to us Tuesday. It appears the one in the Hampton/Rapids City area was more destructive, as that is a more highly populated are than the Good Hope/St. Augustine region.
