Three defendants in a March 22 meth bust in Keithsburg appeared Tuesday, April 5, in Mercer County Circuit Court.

Dan Dalton, the attorney for Steven Adams, 24, Keithsburg, was granted his motion to withdraw as Adams' court-appointed public defender. The preliminary hearing for Adams was continued until April 19.

Also in court were Gordon Crook, 23, New Boston, and Michael Holmes, 20, Andalusia. The court found probable cause to continue the case against Crook during his preliminary hearing. His pre-trial was set for April 18.

The attorney for Holmes moved to continue his client's pre-trial until April 25. The motion was granted. Holmes was ordered to have an evaluation within 14 days. His bond was reduced from $25,000 to $10,000.
