Charles Peacock, 22, Matherville, will be sentenced at 9 a.m. May 10. He was in Mercer County Circuit Court Monday (April 11) on a motion to revoke his probation.

Peacock pleaded guilty in December of last year to a Class-1 felony of meth manufacturing. He was put on probation for three years, despite the prosecution's recommendation he be sentenced to eight years in prison.

State's Attorney Greg McHugh was not successful in his effort to get the judge to reconsider the sentence. Peacock was arrested March 7 for allegedly violating his probation by having contact with Erica Sandusky.
