Aledo Police Department promotes Seefeld
ALEDO — Upon the recommendation of Chief of Police Chris Sullivan, City Administrator Erin Knackstedt and Mayor Chris Hagloch, Aledo Police Department Sergeant Nick Seefeld was recommended for promotion to the rank of lieutenant by unanimous vote of the Aledo City Council on Monday, May 15, 2017. The salary for the position was set at $56,000.
Nick, a 20-year veteran of the Aledo Police Department, is the supervisor and second in command at the department. Lt. Seefeld is a member of the Henry-Mercer County Investigative Task Force and is certified as Lead Homicide Detective. He also recently completed Elder Service Officer Training and participates with the Mercer County TRIAD program.
