Senior Health Fair/Celebrating our Seniors
Staying safe, healthy and sane is important for all of us but even more so for those with underlying health conditions.
The Mercer County Senior Center & Mercer County Human Services Council will offer contactless curbside resource fair for Seniors 60+ living in Aledo and the greater Mercer County area.
“We’re offering a contactless, safe and free way for our Mercer County residents to receive information on resources to help them make it through these tough times,” said Kim Schaefer the Council’s President.
The event is supported by Mercer County Senior Center & area organizations affiliated with the Mercer County Human Services Council. Volunteers will give to the first 150, a reusable grocery bag filled with community resource information, keep safe items like hand sanitizer, goodies, brain teasers and more!
“We want to let the community know we’re thinking about them this during this challenging time. We know it can be hard and people can feel really isolated and alone,” said Lora Felger, Health Alliance Community Liaison and member of the Council. “A warm smile and a hello safely can go a long way right now.”
