1st Community Bank has two locations in Mercer County, Illinois ~ Sherrard and Aledo. A community bank since its charter in 1920, 1st Community Bank continually strives to remain closely tied to the communities they serve. As part of their ties to the communities, they are committed to supporting their customers and communities, now more than ever. Through a partnership with Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago they are providing $5,000 each to the following organizations ~ Mercer County Health Department, Mercer County Senior Center, and the Churches of Mercer County Food Pantry. Each of these organizations provide fundamental services to our community. During this difficult time, their funding has suffered.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s (FHLB Chicago) Targeted Impact Fund provides members with grants to support relief efforts for populations hardest-hit by COVID-19.
