Sheridan Hank, daughter of Jeff and Trisha Hank of Aledo, and recent Mercer County High School graduate, has been named to the 2020 State 4-H Livestock Judging Team. Typically, the State 4-H All-Star team represents Illinois at the National 4-H Contest held in Louisville, KY, however, it has been canceled for 2020 due to Covid.

The Hank family realized an unusual Illinois 4-H accomplishment by placing two generations on the 4-H State Team – Jeff Hank qualified in 1985 – and then also landing all three siblings on the team with Carson Hank in 2013 and Gage Hank in 2016.

Other members of the 2020 Illinois 4-H State Team include:  Brooke Beyers – Sibley, IL; Emma Freebairn – Ottawa, IL; Ty Drach – Pontiac, IL; Sheridan Hank – Aledo, IL; Tanner Mickey – Taylorville, IL; Emma Richardson – Capron, IL; Skye Schumaker – Heyworth, IL; and Paige Van Dyke – Louisville, IL

Sheridan now attends Lake Land College as an Agriculture Transfer student and is a member of the Livestock Judging Team.
