Fireman’s Ball is Feb. 21

Aledo fire fighters will be ready for the Fireman’s Ball Feb. 21. The fire fighters will use proceeds from the ball to purchase equipment and help pay for the annual July 4 fireworks show. Pictured are firefighters Jesse Bewley, Justin Blaser, Bill Stropes and Preston King.

Members of the Aledo Fire Department will hold the 84th annual Fireman’s Ball Feb. 21 from 8 p.m. until midnight at the VFW Hall in Aledo.

The band for the evening will be Third Hand. There will also be a raffle drawing for a wide screen TV and $500 cash. There will also be a 50-50 drawing. Individuals do not need to be present to win.

Tickets are $5 apiece and can be purchased from any fireman or at the door the evening of the ball.

Proceeds from the ball are used to assist the fire department.
