Brandy Emo arrested

Deputies from the Mercer County Sheriff’s office arrested Brandy Emo of Aledo, 35, Tuesday, Jan. 18. The warrant was issued by the Aledo Police Department with Emo charged with a Class 4 felony for obstructing justice.

The arrest was part of the continuing investigation of a slew of residential and vehicle burglaries that took place in Aledo and surrounding areas in late November 2010.

Bond was set at $10,000, 10 percent.

Emo’s first appearance in Mercer County Court, was Wednesday. The court appointed Geoffrey P. Campbell as her public defender, with the preliminary hearing set for Jan. 25, 2011 at 2:30 p.m.
