Brants plead guilty to meth charges

Andrew Brant, 27, and Tracy Brant, 41, both of New Boston, were in court Monday, May 23, 2011, for a pretrial conference in front of Judge Greg Chickris. Each was charged with and pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, a Class 2 felony. The two were arrested in February, 2011.

Tracy received three years in the Department of Corrections, two years mandatory supervised release after release from prison and court costs only.

Andrew was sentenced to five years in DOC, two years mandatory supervised release, a $750 fine plus court costs. The court recommended he receive drug treatment as well.
